Dr. Bryan Bass was a devoted family physician for over 33 years, much-loved by his patients and colleagues in the Cowichan Valley and beyond. Deeply invested in his community, he served as Co-Chair of the Cowichan Division of Family Practice and, in addition to his relentless dedication to medicine, he was a member of Rotary, supporter of the Cowichan Salmonid Society, and numerous other charitable organizations. This Memorial Fund was established in his name by the family practice community to support Cowichan Grade 12 graduates who are pursuing a career as a medical doctor.
